Our Sessions
(Scroll down to go straight to sessions!)

Our all-weather, outdoor sessions are led by a qualified Forest School Leader, are predominantly child-led, and may involve (but will not be restricted to) any combination of the following activities; messy (mud/water!)/sensory play, free play/woodland exploration, fire lighting, campfire cooking, den building, team building, story time and discussions/chats around the campfire, playing games, making nature crafts, mud kitchen fun, sensory trails and scavenger hunts, seasonal activities, musical activities, learning about nature and conservation including practical conservation, forest bathing/mindfulness, hammock swinging, slackline skills and hand-tool use such as introduction to knife skills, whittling, hammering, chopping and drilling.

All activities help develop a child’s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, or spiritual development in some way, and all activities are designed to be fun and engaging. Forest School is a relaxed environment and all activities are optional, with free-play being (almost) always an alternative option.

If our Forest School sessions sound like something you, or someone you know would enjoy and benefit from, please come and join us in the woods where you will be warmly welcomed by smiling faces, a warm drink, and a roaring fire. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We can't wait to meet you!

PLEASE NOTE: Non-walking siblings are FREE for all sessions when attending with a paying adult and child. We have a designated 'baby area' that is just for use by babies/non-walkers, (they don't have to stay there though!), so that your nature babies have a muddy boot free place to safely explore. (Please select the under 15m/non-walkers free ticket option when booking, so that we will know how many non-walkers will be attending the session.) Children (under 16) MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Forest School sessions will take place in all weathers, except in high winds and snow/ice, so please dress appropriately. We believe that all weather and all seasons can offer different learning opportunities, various outdoor play experiences and endless fun to be had! More information, including our cancellation policy and a recommended clothing list, is available upon booking (and on the FAQ page of our website).
